In 2016, Peter supported the AMPC through working with an EY team to conduct a Strategic Risk Assessment of the Australian red meat industry.  This analysis considered the critical trends currently impacting the industry, and identified those strategic risks that may have the greatest impact on it in coming decades. Peter has 10 years’ experience working in strategy, finance and government.

The Executive Chair of the Australian Meat Processor Corporation, Peter was elected to the board  for a third term in November 2013. 
Peter holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of NSW and has practised law with International firms in Australia, the United States and Asia. He is also an adjunct Associate Professor in Law and Agriculture at the University of New England.
